Dornier Do 335 Arrow Desktop Model Plane

Dornier Do 335 Arrow History:

The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil (or "Arrow") was one of the more unique prop-driven designs of the Second World War. Designed and patented by Doctor Claudius Dornier himself as early as 1937, the Do 335 utilized a concept of mounting one engine forward and another aft on a smooth fuselage with low-monoplane to do away with thrust design flaws encountered by single engine fighters. The result was the pencil-shaped Do 335 design that connected the rear engine via an extended propeller shaft. Both engines were fitted with three propeller blades each.
